My actual intention was to DOTA but looking at the time [12.51AM! -.-] ..
.. Better not.
Okay, that leaves plan B – Instant noodles, a good movie and ZZZ. Speaking of which, this isn’t really a good idea as well. After all, when I’m done with everything, I’ll probably end up sleeping at 3 in the morning [which means I'll be late for work .. again!]
Oh well. Not like I’ll have much of a choice to work with in the first place but anyway!
I’ve received my acceptance letter for entry into Republic Polytechnic’s School Of Hospitality and will, on April 15th, 2010, begin pursuing a diploma in Customer Relationship and Service Management. And like the days at ITE Clementi, there’ll be the long trip [in this case, a service 966 trip to Woodlands, followed by a change to either service 169/902 for the short hop into school.] to look foward to. But hopefully, that’s the only piece of history which I hope will repeat itself – I seriously could do without the antics of yesteryear.
Truth be told, it isn’t exactly the course I wanted to go for but at then again, I don’t have much of a choice either. With such lousy grades, I should really just thank heaven, earth and hell for the chance.
Indeed, I always thought I’ll end up taking the “private study” route. Though it’ll be a lot more faster, it’s also a lot less secure as well; seems like the powers that be has a problem with the credibility of a private diploma – I’ve heard far too many stories of private diplomas being less “useful” in securing a “workable” rice bowl.
And at times, I feel like it’s a bit too late for this [especially after hearing what Natasha said! - she'll put me to shame for like, 2198734017 times.] but still, AT THE VERY LEAST!
Better late then never.
Oh well. In other news! – the past weekend was spent at a chalet for the 2 sisters. Costa Sands, Pasir Ris Chalet, to be precise. Not really the best of places to celebrate a birthday though – It was rather cramped for the amount of people that came [and that is when there were still quite a few .. "absentees"!].
And who wouldn’t forget all those moments, like!:
* The guy [I don't know his name!] and his search for: [This is an inside joke by the way.
]
1) contact lens. [presumably his!]
2) the ant that was wearing shoes.
3) “Spiritual Enlightment”. (refer to picture below for more details.)

* Wan Ling’s unglam moments. I doubt anyone will forget!
1) The reindeer routine!
2) The (business as usual!) unglam moment of her telling Natasha she had a few problems with fitting into her clothes and!
3) That powerful kick into our makeshift icebox that resulted in a large chunk of styrofoam being torn off from the box itself!
* Matt’s $10/hr job as a cook for the BBQ. He’s got talent with a open fire and marinated chicken.
* And lastly .. that Honda Stream + our little jaunt to Malaysia!
Needless to say, I’m super broke now. Just like that, poof! $900 gone from my bank account. OUCH!
A lot of people will probably say that I’m crazy [after all, I guess some people will say something like "it's not even for your girlfriend!"] but still, I guess the sacrifice was worth it though. And it isn’t as bad as it looks – they’ll still be returning money for their share in this “joint venture”.
And did I forget to mention that I still have MY birthday chalet to look forward to?
